Parts of Speech & its classifications, Modal, Tenses, Articles, Prepositions, Right Forms of Verbs, Sentence types (Affirmative, Negative, Interrogative, Exclamatory), Use of Punctuation & Capital letters

Formal Letter:
i) Write an application to the Headmaster praying for setting up a canteen
ii) Write an application to the Headmaster praying for increasing library facilities

Informal Letter:
i) Write a letter to your friend congratulating him/her on his/her brilliant success in the examination
ii) Write a letter to your friend inviting him/her in your elder brother’s/sister’s marriage ceremony

E-mail Writing:
i) Write an e-mail to your younger brother advising him to read newspaper daily
ii) Write an e-mail to your friend to inform him/her about your native village
